Phnom Penh

The capital of Cambodia is quite a buzzing city but also very dusty and polluted. The main attraction there is The Killing Fields where mass graves have been dug up from the times when Pol Pot ruled the country and decided to kill everyone with any kind of knowledge. The graves are not filled in and signs tell visitors what kind of people were found there. In one case all the corpses were decapitated. In the middle of the fields they have erected a monument that is about 10 meters high and full of skulls, some of them with obvious shot holes.
