Made the short trip from Yokohama to the capital of Japan and spent a few days exploring the areas that are supposed to be worth seeing. And guess what, they are! The Ginza area with all it's fancy tall buildings with most of them being the headquarters or some sort of main office of most known and unknown Japanese and foreign product companies. Car manufacturers, electronics suppliers, fashion companies etc. they're all there. It was interesting to see however that none of the buildings, tall or small, are attached to one another. There is always a little gap so each building is more movable during earthquakes.

Had a look around the Imperial Palace area in Marunouchi, saw a crossroad being flooded with people in Shibuya, the trendy neighborhood of Tokyo, visited Tokyo Tower in Rappongi and also the Rappongi Hills observation deck, went to Electric Town in Akihabara where it's door to door shops full of all sorts of electrical stuff, a lot of it much cheaper than back home. I also visited Ueno Park and Ameyoko, a market place by the train tracks between two JR stations, both in the Ueno area. And finally I visited Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, the area I stayed in.
