This place is full of Japanese culture and there was no way of avoiding the sights. In a traditional Japanese garden I saw a large group of elderly ladies as they were meeting up for evening dinner I believe. They were all in traditional dress and when greeting each other, they bowed much lower then anyone else I've seen bow here.

Visited Nijojo Castle, the Golden Pavilion and the National Garden at Sento Imperial Palace. Also went all around a part of the city called Gion, where I saw some Geisha ladies. Seeing them on pictures is one thing but in real life it's something else and also you've to be very lucky to see any cause there are only about 1000 Geisha in all of Japan. They turn up for their appointments and then vanish so they're only on the streets for a very short time. I was actually very very lucky I saw some of them.
