Arrived in Shanghai early in the morning and got a taxi to my brother Aidan's hotel where I met his room mate Marc. Later we all went around the city and met up with some of their friends for a traditional Chinese meal out. In the evening I met up with Daniel, an old buddy from school, who I'm currently staying with and went for some drinks in a pub overlooking the Bund. Shanghai is very busy of course and full of lights that are strangely enough turned off at some stage during the night.

Met up with Joel again as we had planned and we explored more of the city together. When we got to a shopping area we experienced what it must be like to be famous. We found ourselves surrounded by people trying to sell us all sorts of things, all of them talking simultaneously and hectically while pulling at us and it was very difficult to shake them off.
